If you have an objection to our response, the conciliation body competent for your place of residence or place of residence (registered office) may initiate proceedings, or in the absence of the former, the conciliation body competent for our company’s registered office.
The procedural rules for conciliation bodies are contained in Act CLV of 1997 on Consumer Protection.
A condition for initiating the procedure of the conciliation board is that the consumer attempts to settle the dispute directly with the business concerned.
In the proceedings before the conciliation board, a settlement can be reached with the business, and the board can also issue a resolution containing an obligation (for the business/company involved), if the claim is well-founded (if the claim the consumer wishes to enforce does not exceed two hundred and fifty thousand forints at the time of the resolution containing an obligation, this is possible even if the business has not made a declaration of submission).
The data (e.g. seat) and contact details (telephone, Internet, mailing address) of the competent Conciliation Body can be found under the link above under the “Bodies” menu item.
